Normal Heights Community Garden Project

In July of 2021 Normal Heights lost the Vera House community garden when the lot was sold for the construction of a new home, leaving neighbors few options to grow their own food. There is a community garden planned for Ward Canyon Park but it is not due for installation for several years.

The Normal Heights Community Garden project, with funding and support from The Selby Team, local organizations, and individual donors will install and care for a new community garden along East Mountain View Drive between 4603 and 4621 intersecting with Cherokee Ave.
